October 1, 2012 by Jesse Schmitt in Politics with 0 Comments

As recently stated by a leading official from the PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization), the PA (Palestinian Authority) is most likely to present resolution requesting improved UN observer status for Palestine in the later months, after the conclusion of the United States 2012 Presidential Elections.

A leading associate of the PLO’s standard decision-making commission, Hanan Ashrawi informed that they have started discussions on the general format of the transcript that is expected to be submitted to the honorable General Assembly to advance the Palestinian position to an onlooker state position.

Most individuals are expected the completion of discussions well before the fall of the present year, while there are many other who have openly proposed that they aim the 29th November 2012, since it is the international calendar day of Unity with the people of Palestine. But, the president told very clearly that he has no plans of submitting it ahead of the United States 2012 Presidential Elections, which has been slated to take place on 6th November 2012.

Mahmoud Abbas, Chairman of the Palestinian Authority, recently said that the PA would definitely request the General Assembly to give super observe standing to it that could offer it the chance to gain direct access to UN agencies and institutions. The declaration, which has been made to the General Legislative body in his authenticate address, came almost one year after Abbas requested the Security Commission to award the Palestinian Authority the complete member standing. But, unfortunately that proposal has been failed miserably it didn’t received full support in the Security Council consisting of fifteen key members.

Ashrawi informed that they lost the impetus of previous fiscal year, very evidently, at the proposal made to the Security Council. She added that they have arrived at a final critical position. Israel has been permitted to destabilize the 2-state resolution to an instant where this is a final shot to attempt to rescue the possibilities of peace and the 2-state resolution by the people of Palestine.

In his most recent address to the General Assembly, Mahmoud Abbas unlocked into an outburst against Israel, criticizing Jewish societies located in Samaria and Judea, and informing they represent racial purification by Israel. He mentioned that new Jewish societies and destruction of homes in Palestine are a drive of racial purification against the people of Palestine. He has repetitively declared that no Jews are permitted to make a living in a Palestinian Authority state.
